Wanted to like this place so much. Heard so much good. Didn’t do my homework I guess. Hard to believe anything w/ the word “cypress” has nothing synonymous with Louisiana except the pic on the wall. Tapas… a “meal” of hors d’oeuvres. $26 for 3 scallops and $19 for a head of cauliflower. Left hungry and unfulfilled. “Ok” atmosphere but loud and great service from Chris.

Great dining experience Saturday night. This is a great place to go to have drinks and eat great food. You will definitely need to try the steak!! Not our first visit and will not be our last!!

The atmosphere is over the top! Nothing compares in Shreveport as it relates to decor and atmosphere. The food was interesting and well presented; however, out of line with the majority of taste buds in the area. Extremely pricey and only appeals to a select client base. The biscuits were the highlight of the

My husband and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary dinner there last weekend. The service was amazing, the atmosphere beautiful, and the food was literally DIVINE...the drinks were great too..I don't really drink alcohol so the mocktail menu was really amazing! They were nice enough to comp us a piece of King cake cheesecake for dessert, and we both agreed it was literally the BEST cake we have EVER eaten! 5 stars all the way!! Will definitely be back and tell others!

I’ve been here 3 times; think I’m good now. Kept trying to give it another chance. The vibe is trendy and upbeat. But the service is incredibly slow. For our last experience, we had an early dinner reservation and waited at least 45 mins between our appetizers and entrees. Food was very mid. The baos were the best thing we ordered. The other things we tried were pretty bad and no longer on the menu….which isn’t exactly a bad thing. Somehow the food came out cold despite taking 45 mins to get to the table. Bland and cold pork chop. The service was so slow that we ordered dessert while still eating entrees. There’s nothing there that I’ve had that I would want to order again except an ice cream sandwich dessert (have tried ribeye steak, short ribs, branzino, crab cakes, scallops.) There are better places in town to spend your time and money. Def wouldn’t recommend. 3/10

This place needs to be shut down. We arrived and waiting 30 min FOR OUR RESERVED TABLE!!! What is the point in reservations if we still have to wait… THEN!! we sat there for 2 hours and we and no one else in the restaurant got their food. As the server was telling us she didn’t know if we would get our food, THEY WERE STILL SITTING PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT.. makes absolutely no sense. management needs to be fired. this is awful and i am never coming back. spend over 100 $ on drinks.. btw

I have dined all across the US.The food is good, not amazing. The drinks were more worth going for, well balanced and tasty. We had the bone marrow and hot chicken appetizers and the steak, and the fried chicken dinners, and a dessert that wasn't memorable enough for me to recount now a few weeks later. The bone marrow was smokey and the hot chicken was easily one of our favorite parts about the meal. The fried chicken dinner was well seasoned and the steak was cooked exactly to order. The biggest issue with the meal was the sides. The vegetables that came on the side of the steak were so undercooked that I needed my steak knife to cut them instead of the steak. As for the atmosphere, it is pretty, but the tables we were at were wobbling and we were seated fast food booth style, right next to a large group of people. For a $200+ meal for 2 people, these things should not have been factors and make the experience seem overpriced. It would be a great stop for a drink with a date, but I likely won't plan another dinner there again.

The chefs need some work. We got halve done potatoes twice and salmon not cooked enough. Service and atmosphere are great.

Loved everything! We were at the Chef’s table room which is decorated beautifully. We had the best server taking care of us, Mackenzie. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and had so many suggestions on foods and drinks to try. Everything was brought out in a timely manner and was intricately plated. The bao buns, crab cakes, scallops, filet, and burgers were wonderful. Best server I’ve ever had. Thanks again for a great evening!

I can’t say thank you enough! So let me first start off by saying, the ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Something Shreveport desperately needed. If you want to experience a true mixologist, ask if Nick is in the house! He is truly responsible for making this birthday very memorable. Amazing wines, food and phenomenal service. The servers are extremely knowledgeable of their menu and they great recommendations. To end the evening with a drink named in my honor for the restaurants bar menu was the highlight of my life. Again, thank you for a memorable evening, we will be back soon.
