Don Juanz Baja Beach Tacos Shreveport

Forward thinking on typical Mexican fare. It was fresh, exciting, and delicious. Service was better than a full-service restaurant. Ambiance was cute. The Tuna Bowl was almost too pretty to eat and the shrimp burrito (made with gulf shrimp) excellent but almost too big to eat. Very happy I included this restaurant on my trip to Shreveport.

Super chill place, loved the vibes and the service here. Bailey, the manager and part of the ownership family was great. Tacos and fajitas were very good too! Would recommend if you’re looking for a nice evening/lunch with good vibes.

Elevated Cali--Mex food that was pretty solid. The yellowfin salad was perfect and our calle (steak) tacos were grilled to exactly how we like them. Their interior is truly one of a kind and spotless clean. Definitely on our list.

My husband has celiac disease, and Don Juanz went above and beyond to accommodate him safely. When we placed our order at the counter, the owner took time to talk with us about how they handle gluten-free meals — explaining their kitchen setup and how their staff are trained to prevent cross-contamination. It gave us so much confidence, and the food was absolutely delicious.

Great service, great food, and such care for their customers. Highly recommend for anyone looking for gluten-free options done right!

Such a fun spot with the best vibes! The funky Cabo-inspired décor set the tone, the margaritas were definitely award-worthy, and the fish tacos were fresh and delicious. Service was excellent—we’ll absolutely be back!

Don't miss this one if you are in Shreveport. Excellent service in an attractive restaurant. The menu was simple and notated with healthy options- if you desired. I ordered the el jefe certified carne asada with an organic side salad which was the best steak I've had in a mexican restaurant. Other stand outs were the chipotle chicken tacos and wonderful margaritas.

My best friend and I stopped by for lunch and it was our first time to eat here. The menu is loaded with fresh ingredients like sushi grade fish, queso made from real cheese, fresh tortillas made in house, and so much more! I was thrilled to finally find a restaurant in Shreveport that has filtered water and ice! As a connoisseur of tacos, chips and salsa, I have to say this may be the best that I’ve ever tasted. Don and his staff truly care about the details. If you are looking for fresh ingredients, great service, and supporting local- this is it!

The owner and the son treat every single guest amazing. I was on a work trip and ate there after work one day and it was so good that my partner and I went back the next day. We ran into both again and had an even better experience. Highly recommend and hope they come to Oklahoma soon.

First time there. People are so very nice. Food excellent. Had ceviche and various tacos. Tequila cocktails were some of the best I have had anywhere. Definitely will be back!
