Website says closes at 8. Got there at 7:15. Employee ran up and locked the door as I was walking up. Didn’t make eye contact. Been several times, but likely not going back.
I visited one morning. They had just opened the business. They had been open about a month. They were all new. I want to make that clear. Things may have changed. I can only give you what happened during my visit. Upon entering the owner gave me a look. I can only describe it as a suspicious/hateful look. Not the smile and nod I am accustomed to getting upon entering a restaurant. During my visit the cashier rang me up and the total was twice what it should have been. Then the cashier, the owner and another man tried to get ice cream out of the machine. After about 3 minutes I just walked out. I have not been back. The employees were very nice and helpful, just new at their job. My issue is with the owner from the look he gave me and the fact that he opened the store before it was fully functional and the staff trained. Things may have changed. I will never know because of the encounter upon entering. That look I would liken to a bully on the playground sizing you up. That was my second visit. The first visit was not notable. I had the brisket kolache and it was not what I expected. I had never seen this item before and was excited to try it. It was devoid of flavor. I was expecting smoked brisket, It was not. The staff were very friendly and helpful at that time as well.

Damn good chicken sandwich and hand cut fries! Highly recommend!!
I ordered the Nashville Box and got the Hot! sauce on my sandwich. It was a perfect-level of heat if you want flavor without ruining your afternoon. They didn't skimp on the portion size either! The hand cut fries were crispy and perfect.
I didn't get a doubt, but they looked damn tasty. There were some great looking flavors!

Minimal indoor seating and super long cook time, waffle reminded me of eggos. Chicken was cooked well but batter was bland then they give you plastic utensils and food served on butcher paper. I went through 3 forks during the course of my meal. If I pay $25 for breakfast, then can I have some real metal utensils please. One and done. Won’t be back.

Awesome 👌
Po'boy is not a good standard for a classic chicken po'boy, if we want it to stand as a po'boy. Which I get po'boys aren't their schtick so the bar was low and it still didn't meet it. So maybe it stands as a fried chicken sub?
I bought the po'boy with no changes or subs. It was eaten hot and fresh at the restaurant.
The sauce: Light on sauce. Tastes like they did their own spin of a remoulade sauce which is delightful with a nice little hint of spice, it not your typical remoulade. Just wish they put a little bit more on the bread to help buffer the chicken.
Bread: bread wasn't like a traditional po'boy bread. It didn't have the right texture or color on the outside for po'boy bread. Which is really surprising cause they are supposed to be using Gambino rolls. Gambino rolls are good usually!!!!
The fixin's: comes with tomato and lettuce. Not a single pickle to be seen 😞 how am I supposed to have a po'boy without all the fixin's on it? 😭
The chicken: might be a factor of the sauce issue, the breading on the chicken absorbed the remoulade. It made the breading soft on parts before it could even get consumed 😞 despite that it was ok, it's just fried chicken. It's nothing special to write home about.
We also got the Nashville chicken sandwich which was reportedly good. It came with pickles...
No really good area to stand for waiting if you order a To-go, just a little hallway by the door but then you block any traffic that needs to go through that hall.
Over all it is O.K. but there are better chicken sandwiches and way better chicken po'boys in town and surrounding areas in my opinion BUT maybe this is the po'boy of your dreans!
Wait time was long to get food too, which we didn't mind but it might affect others.

The new place was nice and in a great area for business. The donuts 🍩 😋 were always delicious. I ordered two chicken sandwich combos. The fries weren't fresh and the sandwich was just okay. For the price, I expected everything to be perfect. The food truck they had before tasted so much better.

Chicken was over cooked, it had very little flavor, the bun turned to goo when I picked up the sandwich, and the fries tasted like they had been reheated.
