The food wasn't great. I was informed by the person I went with (that hadn't been there in more than a year) that their cook had apparently changed. The salsa was too hot for my preference so I ordered queso, and it was so hot my mouth was burning. It was very runny and tasted like they'd thinned it with jalepeno juice. I wasn't able to finish it and I'm not a picky eater. I ordered chicken enchiladas as that's usually a safe bet at an unknown (to me) Mexican restaurant. I ate them but I wouldn't call them particularly good. They tasted very strongly of canned green chilies, which is a more bitter taste than I prefer. I couldn't fault them, the food was fresh, and well presented, just not to my taste.... The person I went with also commented that it wasn't as good as she remembered.... Also... Sangria say what now?

If I could give less than 1 star I would! Previously I had eaten @ Benton location. Amazing service and excellent food. Today however was not! I visited the Barksdale location and ended up with the most disgusting meal. My server asked if I liked it, I told him that I did not. He simply said “sorry” and walked away! Never came back to ask if there was anything he could do to make it better, no offer of any discount on the $37 meal ticket, literally nothing. I will no longer eat at this establishment as they obviously do not care at all about their customers.

Went to El Patio with a group for lunch. It's usually fairly busy at lunch, haven't been there for dinner.

Parking: Nice seating. The tables and chairs have a Mexican theme. I usually love the food and not too expensive. This was the first time the chicken enchiladas were not good. Not sure what happened. The chicken was so dry and tough I couldn't eat it. Another lady in our group had a Taco chicken salad and her chicken was the same. The rice and refried beans were very good.

This was our first time here and we came after the lunch rush about 2pm. The lunch specials were still available for another hour. I opted for birria tacos. They were quite tasty and came with onions, cilantro, spicy red sauce and birria sauce on the side. My husband got a fajita special not on the lunch menu. Forgive me, I don't remember what it was called (started with a P?) It included chicken, shrimp, chorizo and beef. Itvwas enough he needed a to go box(this man can put some food away). Both came with traditional set ups with rice, etc.
I also got a blueberry margarita on the rocks. They had many flavor ad ins to choose from. Next time I'll have to go after 5 for happy hour (2-4-1 I believe).

Picked up. Chips cold and stale. Chicken with peppers and onions had zero taste. No salt no seasoning at all. How does Mexican food have no seasoning? Last time for us. Prices are not terrible but food is.

Earth bound

Came for the vegetarian menu. The items on it have chicken and lard... not veg friendly

Food and drink menus are fantastic!

One of the only local LA-TX spots to get a mojito sans mojito mix solid 5/10

Best mojito NYC for some odd reason

For dinner be ready for a super crowded house. But the food is the main attraction. A must try in Shreveport

First time here. Got a chile rellano and chalupa combo. It was fair. The batter on the Chile tasted off... kind of like it was old.

Biggest turn off is the atmosphere. The music is way too loud. Like can't talk to the person next to you loud. But what's annoying is that you only hear the main beat and it's exactly the same for the entire duration of your dinner.

Service was pretty good but not stellar.

My family and I eat from there about once a week. Most of the time it's drive through. Today being Sunday I drove through. Went straight home with our food and it was still warm. It was delicious. We both ordered two puffy tacos with Dr.Pepper and Coke. I love how large the drink cups are. If I had to pick one thing I would love to see the portions larger.

I’ve called the restaurant on several occasions and the person who answers will pick up the phone and put it on hold. They don’t acknowledge the customer on the line and then they’ll just hang it up. You can hear them in the background taking orders. I guess they don’t want it to ring.
