Absolutely Authentic and Heartwarming Experience!
As someone who has traveled all over the U.S. as an airline pilot — and who splits time between Louisiana and Southern California — I’ve had the chance to try countless Mediterranean and Persian restaurants across the country. I can honestly say that Plains Mediterranean Grill in Freeport is as authentic as it gets, and the food rivals (if not surpasses) anything I’ve had...

Flames is a remarkable place to hit in Shreveport. It’s just on the south part of the town, which makes it perfect for cross-country travel stop. The food is absolutely incredible. A fusion of Middle Eastern food that leads you begging for more with each bite. The only problem I found with this place is that it’s one of a kind. And if I wanna experience this food again, I’m gonna have to travel a long way to get there. If you live in Shreveport, this is absolutely a no-brainer....

Perfect hosts, great selection of Persian authentic food and amazingly tasty food. The waiters were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The owner was extremely friendly and an amazing host.
