Went to Gibbons today. Had a gift card and manager was sooo rude! Said the gift card was a FAKE & scribbled a big x on the back and wrote FAKE! He wasn’t even going to give me the gift card back! I paid for my meal and came home and confirmed it was not a fake and in fact it has a $40 balance! I have pics to prove the balance is still available!

April 4, 2025. This restaurant came recommended to us. We were there this evening having dinner for the first time we are from Longview Texas. We were eating our dinner and our waiter who was fabulous. Got us a new bottle of A1. I looked down at the bottle and there was a giant bug on it, the size of a grasshopper, which it wasn’t a grasshopper. My husband did not want to make a scene so he got the A1 bottle and put it on the floor and covered it with a napkin, the table, the side of a saw it and flipped out, but we kinda kept it under the table because we did not want to make a scene. Our waiter came over and apologized and said he talked to the manager few minutes later the manager came over and said I am so sorry we will comp your appetizer which was six dollars. We weren’t wanting the meal comped, but the way the manager handled it was unappropriate. She said she went in the back and sprayed all of the A1 bottles with bug spray now remember if you asked forA1 your A1, will be brought to your table with the bug spray. The manager told us that this is what the owner said she could allow to do. We weren’t asking for really nothing but we believe how the manager handled. The situation was absolutely horrible.

This place has zero customer service. They told us 20 min and then took our name off this list so we have to wait another half hour for a table. After getting a table it was not clean and the whole restaurant is dirty. I wash may hands before I could even sit down and clean up the last persons sticky mess. This place is a joke don’t eat here. Had to give it a one star.

What a great place to eat! The atmosphere is luxurious. The price is great and the service is wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant! Ask for the waitress CoCo!! She’s the greatest waitress ever in the history of waitresses! Thank you Gibbons!!!
They always have attitudes on the phone and when you try to book a reservation it's always turned off . This restaurant is new to me . So I ask myself do I want spend my money here and recommend it to my friend ,well I have second thoughts about just the customer service. Was not pleased at all

I pride myself for not being a nitpicky or a complaining person...but...this is our favorite place for the value BY FAR! You absolutely cannot beat the quality of the food and the environment, for the price! Hands down! They make all of their stuff fresh and in-house and buy locally when they can :) So that makes it even that much better. The atmosphere is dim lit and absolutely clean. The wait staff is completely professional. The food has never been anything less than awesome. The prices? They're average, and I mean average. Like 15$! Their appetizers run about $8! I hope they open another one around here. I have had at least 8 different dishes and several appetizers, and they can not be beat for the price/quality!
Usually the service is five stars just like the food. But I guess our server was just having a rough day. Always great food and atmosphere.

I love this restaurant and frequently eat here as it serves great food at a very reasonable price. After a difficult work day I met a friend for dinner. The food was good, as always. After paying our bill, we continued visiting for a bit. Someone actually came to our table and asked us to leave because we had already paid our check. I find that to be rude and unprofessional to your customers. Our 4 top booth with two paying customers was not causing a problem. As much as I like this place I will not be coming back for sometime, if ever. I do understand that it’s a busy, popular restaurant but that really didn’t need to happen. This restaurant has enough business to not treat customers in that manner. Just know that when you eat here, you need to leave immediately after paying the check or they may ask you to go.

We have been there many times and the food was always great. But this time I ordered the steak and grilled shrimp, It was supposed to come with a baked potato and one side vegetable. I asked for it cooked medium and it was black and crispy and no potato only a side of broccoli and a side of coleslaw. And the shrimp were deep fried.
