It was my first time there. I got the catfish. Lawdddd it was so good and seasoned! And you get really nice sized pieces. It was so good that we came back so my mom could order her some. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. I can't give them enough credit, especially the one with the long dreads. I didn't get his name, but he was a huge blessing to us. Our car wouldn't start after we ordered our food. Without hesitation he pulled around to the front and gave us a jump. We greatly appreciate the service and good food and will be back.

Very nice and friendly people. The food was great. The catfish appetizer always tastes fresh. My son says the hamburger is good and fresh, but he recommends the catfish poboy.
We sat at the bar and Percy provided great service. The draft 318 beer was very cold. We started with one of our favorites: fried crab claws. The large oyster dinner had HUGE oysters ? and they were unbelievably good. The onion rings were also excellent. We tried the gumbo and etoufee combo. Sadly the gumbo was not as good as my previous visits long ago but overall experience was worth the extra effort to stop on our way to southern LA. We had 5 friends comment on our FB posts that they all come here on Tia’s trips like we do. Since 1936 pumping out great food. ?
