I absolutely loved this place. The bread pudding is probably the best I've ever had. However, the food is very bland. We ordered the shrimp buster and fried catfish. None of our dishes had flavor. This is Louisiana!!! Whoever is doing the cooking, please spice it up a bit!

Stop in during a family road trip. Percy greeted us as we walked in and the hospitality was impeccable every item was executed perfectly. Best Louisiana experience to date. Can't wait to come through Shreveport cuz we have found our regular stop.

This place was amazing. The homemade onion rings and homemade thousand island was killer. The cheeseburger and fries were also amazing. We stopped at this place by accident heading back to Kansas City and I would definitely come back.

I've been eating at herby-k's for over 50 years and was never disappointed until yesterday. Seafood gumbo was perfect. The famous shrimp-buster was totally different. Instead of being golden brown as usual the shrimp batter was white and seemingly not seasoned at all and were extremely bland,there was no taste at all. Needless to say I did not enjoy my meal. Did not complain to the server as that would serve no purpose. Ate 2 of the shrimp brought 2 home but couldn't eat them. The shrimp-buster was a bust. James Foster
