Felt like I was at my grandma's house. The food was cooked to perfection...meat was falling off the bone and the sides were fantastic. We sat down and they took care of us like we were family. I would have taken photos of the food, but I was too busy eating.

When he first opened he used to be really good, but unfortunately we came into town and was surprised. Meat was way too tough. We order ribs and brisket and it just wasn’t it. It was good while it lasted. Very friendly service. Food isn’t it anymore though.

Hands down, the best BBQ place in Shreveport/Bossier and beyond. I always get the brisket, it never disappoints. The sausage is on point with that snap when you bite into it. They got a good scald on their chicken; it's seasoned well, juicy, and not just surface. You can taste it in every bite to the bone. potato salad and baked beans are great as well as the homemade Mac n cheese. seriously, podnuhs can hang it up. This place puts all the others to shame.v

Do not sleep on this place!!! It’s hard to determine which was better, the food or the hospitality! We had ribs, sausage, ox tail, and the guys in the back brought out wings just to try. We will definitely be ordering those next time too! The bourbon bbq sauce added an excellent touch as well! All of the staff was so friendly and kind to our whole gang- from the Grandpa to the wiggly bare foot toddler. This is now a must stop when we are traveling through Shreveport!

This was my first visit, but not my last. I ordered a three meat plate (sausage, brisket, and ribs) with potato salad and baked beans. Everything tasted good and it was plenty!!! Additionally I left with complimentary desserts as well! Google reviews made me want to check them.out and I'm glad I did.
