Food was amazing! Everything was homemade even to the BBQ sauce! BBQ Sauce had a garlic infusion which paired well with the brisket! Brisket was juicy but also had a perfectly crisp bark! There is two picnic tables outside to sit at and enjoy. They will even come check on you outside.

Most people would probably drive right by this place, but that would be a mistake! Our daughter lives nearby and we’ve always wanted to try it while visiting her, and finally did. We got a slab of ribs, rib tips, brisket and chicken along with all three sides. Everything was amazing, but the ribs and the beans were ridiculously good! The meat just fell off the ribs and the seasoning and smoke was perfect. Some of the best barbecue we’ve ever had. The staff were very friendly as well. Highly recommended!

Disappointed honestly.... Disappointed that I'll probably never have their peach cobbler ever again since I dont live in Louisiana. It was the BEST cobbler I've had in my life. The BBQ was amazing too. Some of the best we've had between Washington state to Iowa, down to Louisiana. This place had my husband and I looking at houses for sale near here. 10/10 recommend, whether youre a local or a tourist. They'll make you feel like a long time friend as soon as you walk up. The people here are very nice. They are very friendly. Having some of the best brisket I have ever had is another perk. Sausage & Potato salad is good. Jambalaya is mid. I was not a fan of the beans as I think the hamburger meat in it is strange. BBQ sauce tastes store bought, but you won't need it. I am lucky this place is on my way everyday. Notes: outside dining only; so when it is hot outside, take home is the only option.

We went there for our first time on a Sunday afternoon as we wanted to get Bar-B-Que on our way back from Texas. First impression is it's a small roadside smoke house.
We were greeted with a country smile and placed our orders. We ate at the picnic tables. The ribs and sides were delicious! By far the best smoked Bar-B-Que we have had in the Shreveport area. Nothing fancy, just great smoked Bar-B-Que food, and friendly fast service. We highly recommend and we will be back for sure.

While I didn't come to Shreveport for the food, Howard's Roadhouse BBQ was a great find during my time in Shreveport. I will definitely make this a staple anytime I'm in the area. Brisket, ribs, potatoe salad, beans were awesome. The owners, assuming they were, were friendly and up for some conversation. If you're within an hour or two of Howard's, definitely go out of your way to get some food. Writing this review even made me hungry

Went for BBQ on Feb 8, Sat evening. It was about an hour before closing, and I still had great service and full menu choices. I thought I was just getting ribs, but when I got there, my eyes were leading me to more, and I ended up with an All Meats Plate! Everything was great, but the chicken was spectacular!

Me and my friend from Dallas, TX seen this place in Tik toc. They advertise this lady eating their barbecue and it looked so juicy that we decided to try them so we pulled up and you can just feel the love as soon as you get out the car. When I tell you that Latisha and her husband was so welcoming, I immediately knew that that barbecue was made from love. That barbecue was so juicy, it was just falling from my lips. Being from Dallas and tasting Louisiana barbecue was unmatched. I highly recommend that if you’re traveling or staying in Shreveport, LA please y’all, go and support this business. You won’t regret it. I’m still eating their barbecue the next day and it’s still juicy. Good job yall.! I’ll most definitely be back.
