India’s Restaurant in Shreveport, LA is definitely one of the best spots for Indian food in the area! The food was flavorful, fresh, and well-presented. You can tell the chefs put real effort into maintaining authentic taste and variety. The spice level was just right, and every dish felt freshly prepared.
I also loved the bar section — it has a great vibe, relaxing ambiance, and good drink options. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. What’s really unique is that they also have a small Indian grocery store attached, which is super convenient for picking up essentials or snacks after dining.
The hospitality was warm and welcoming — staff were attentive and polite. The service was a bit slow at times, but the friendly atmosphere and food made up for it.
Overall, it’s a lovely place to enjoy a good meal, unwind, and experience authentic Indian flavors. I’d definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a nice evening out in Shreveport!

Not very many buffets worth raving about but this one was by far a treat! Had a taste of almost everything on the buffet around lunch and was pleasantly surprised at how good it all was. Definitely will be visiting again!
Atmosphere is lacking, but food makes up for it.

Went to Indias atleast a dozen times and tried out most of the stuff and happy to say that it was all good.Actually the food is great for an Indian restaurant in small towns..its the best Indian food among many smaller places I tried around the country barring the big cities like Dallas,Austin,New jersey and not judging it based on the multiple big scale authentic restaurants in those places(so keep that in mind about my review)
Tried a lot of dishes and everything was good.some of my favorites are
Garlic naan🫓 (was yumm with lots of garlic and butter) and served piping hot
Chicken curry 🍛 really was homely and tasty
Gunter Idly was good but didn’t like the chutney much
Biryani was okayish..loved the rice/naan and curry combos more
The Highlight was the Lunch Buffet for me..there was a really good variety with lots of veg and non veg options so really loved trying them all.
Really surprised to see so many non desi people at all times. Host Kalyan was great with his recommendations and making the place feel welcoming.

Great value for money ! 14.99 for a lunch buffet for the variety they have is great. The restaurant does feel a bit run down but the food is decent. The buffet had some dishes that are good, some are mediocre and a bit too salty, the mango lassi was great. Loved the fact that all entrees were mostly chicken and suprised to find maggie at a buffet lol. Definitely recommend trying just for the price and the lassi!
The food and customer service are fantastic!

This was my first time at India’s Bar & Grill and I had an amazing experience. Cal went above and beyond to help me through the whole process, from recommending what to order to making sure I enjoyed everything. The environment was welcoming and chill and Cal even promised to help me out with future orders. Definitely coming back!
