Fried fish is good. You can get filets or whole or mixed. Pinto beans were too thick with broth. The broth needed to be thinner, not like paste. Over all the food was good tasting. Great hus puppies.

I used to frequent this place back in the 80’s. The catfish was warm, the okra was cold, the coleslaw tasted like straight vinegar. We watched bunches of people served way before we got served and they came in way after us. I like sweet tea, but not syrup. The tables are perfectly good tables but are yellowed from the original sponsors, kinda nostalgic, but would rather see clean new tables. The chairs were wobbly and sticky. And oh my gosh… the bathroom door 🤦♀️, I needed to wash my hands on the outside of the door after using the bathroom. It very obvious they make so much money as is, they feel as though they don’t need to update. It’s also very apparent they are subpar at cleaning. Maybe they should take a lesson from Chick Fil A on what a clean restaurant looks like. Nope… I won’t be back.

Abbye our waitress checked on us in 20 minute intervals then finally just abandoned us. Had to ask the host to get a ticket finally so we could leave. Been eating here for 30 plus years and will never be back.

I was in a couple of weeks ago! I always loved their oysters! It seems like they have changed the recipe! They were horrible! Over cooked! Server never came back to help what we needed! The quality of the service has gone down! The restroom needs to get attention because it is disgusting!

Just left the restaurant Horrible service and attitude Waited 15 minutes for a server and nobody never came. When I told the cashier, she said oh well. This was one of our favorite places to go to eat fish. Bad experience. Go somewhere else.
