I ordered a Java chip frappachino, and based on their signing I thought it would be like star bucks- wrong, it’s kinda gross, syrup all along the bottom. I also ordered a ham and Swiss and got turkey. I hate turkey but I hate having to go beg for the food I ordered more. Do better, show you care, it’s hospitality it’s that simple. Especially for $18, I would have traveled to a real star bucks and still left spending less and happier.

Frito pie and nachos were delicious and surprisingly got me full . But their prices are ridiculously high!! They only let you get a refill if you eat inside the restaurant

Let me tell you that we ate twice at this deli and you should absolutely ignore the negative comments. We had breakfast and lunch and the quality of the food was excellent. In addition the service from both of the ladies that attended to us was beyond excellent. Very happy and satisfied overall, keep up the good job guys.

Ordered a watermelon bowl and a chicken salad only had croissant. I had no comps and was charged $25 and change. Watermelon was good. My sis paid 6$ for a small piece of pizza. The pizza size use to be twice what she got!!

Went this morning to get a drink and the lady working there today was so rude and hateful they have lost my business and alot more too I will never return to Sam casino again me or any of my family or friends we spend alot of money this weekend there but if u get treated like trash why would you return
I usually like it. Today, 20 minutes before closing, they looked straight at us and said it was closed with a sign right next to them saying 230. OK then.

I agree with Joe below. $4 for a non refillable 12 oz solo with a fountain drink is stupid. 99% of places that charge that much for a fountain drink give refills. This is a bad business model and shows the management style of Boyd. I will spend more time at Bally's and Margaritaville. Margaritaville free refills at the sports book and also on the casino floor. It's just a bad experience here.

The food is just never up to par. Nachos are like concession stand style and pizza is always old as ever! 9$ for either and def not worthy of it. Oh and the 4$ fountain drink full of ice with no refill! I expect to pay more in a casino, but the food could at least be worth it! I I've tried it 3 times now when passing through and haven't enjoyed it yet! The customer service and coffee are always good!

I remember the day when food and drink at casinos was inexpensive. Not at Java’s Deli. This is the only “coffee shop” I found open in Shreveport at 6 am. The cappuccino was way too hot and tasted like coffee with milk rather than espresso. Oh well, what did I expect from a casino?
