Drove over from Minden to meet some family from out of town. The food could not have been better. The atmosphere was great. All of the employees were in a good mood and pleasant. Trace was our server and completed a perfect service. Five stars all around.

The catfish plates are the way to go. The food is consistently good. The service is even better... friendly and efficient. The chicken fried steak is very good too.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere.

Lunch specials are awesome, with great price, plentiful portions, and flavorful foods. I love their whole fried catfish. Fried to perfection ( you can ask to cook to your liking ex. Fried hard) the huspuppies are given as an appetizer and seem to be homemade really good. Lunch price is around 12$ if im not mistaken, so well worth every penny. The server could be a little more upbeat, but it could just have been a rough day totally understandable. Overall, you must try if you're in the area.

I ordered the four piece whole catfish. It comes with a side of pinto beans, coleslaw, and three hush puppies. Everything was very tasty. I enjoyed my dinner. Johnny's has great customer service.Parking: You can phone in your order, and they will bring it to your car. Even if you order on the inside and you want to wait for your order in your car, they will bring it to you.

The food was fantastic. I don't know if anywhere else you can get fish like this. It reminds me of the fish places I grew up with as a child. Keep up the good work. I also like that they have plastic wrap on table and that is cleaned up. I feel more sanitary in this day and time with the diseases we have going on.

I really enjoy the catfish dinner when I'm in the area. Waitress was extremely prompt on everything. Everyone is always so friendly. I bought 2 extra plates to go to my mom and a friend and they always enjoy this great tasting food.
