Whole Foods has lots of vegan options in their deli section but it’s kinda been limited as of 2024 due to certain federal laws that have changed how stores can sell store made vegan food. As of right now, Whole Foods can’t make their own vegan baked goods like cookies or brownies in the actual store. Despite this, they still offer vegan sushi’s, vegan pizza slices, and vegan options in the pre made deli section. They also offer many refrigerated vegan options.
Best produce in town. Best bakery. Best seafood / meat department. Try the homemade granola! Most fun. Love, love, love.
Whole Foods- I am breaking up with you and will be spending my 500 per week at Kroger and local farms! I am so sick of being screened and temp checked by kids w NO medical training just to go in there when no other stores in our area are doing this. #1. to have basically children, none of which have ANY medical training taking temps at the door is ridiculous at best especially since we know that people can have fever w no covid and covid w no fever. #2. The questions that are asked are even more ridiculous! To ask me if I have a fever when you just took. my temperature is just a waste of my time and is harassment! #3. to ask me if I have covid is a violation of my HIPAA rights and really what good does this do considering anyone could lie! #4 to ask me if I have been exposed to covid is another stupid question considering the one at the door could have covid and since they stopped me and came into my social distance bubble could expose me. #5 to ask me if I have diarrhea or a cough- again none of your business and against my HIPAA rights. You better step it up Shreveport Whole Foods bc Kroger is your competition and they do not harass their customers like this. Now, I want to also add that Sharice Davis- the Manager at this store, is a vile nasty woman. She make threats to call the police on her customers and gives nasty looks when in reality- her masks was under her nose and not worn correctly. Ms. Davis needs a new line of work because customer service is NOT her strong suit!
This store needs major improvement in the prepared foods section. As a vegan, you can only get veggie sushi, cucumber noodles, a slice of vegan pizza (IF they have it), mock chicken salad, and sometimes a TTLA. The vegan desserts here are either a hit or a miss. They once had vegan cookies and cream cake, but it was not good compared to other WF that I had tried the cake at. It feels like they cater mainly to omnivores.
Majority of employees do not acknowledge you when are at the prepared food counters. Do not acknowledge you at the register nor offer assistance when going through the aisles if they are stocking etc. Product selection is okay for vegan options. I only go here for organic products I can't find at other grocery stores.
This Whole Foods stock a lot of vegan items. Their bakery and hot bar section is a different story. They BARELY have any vegan options most days. They really need to up their game.
I love going to Whole Foods for the vegan bakery items which are very hard to find at other places. They have the best vegan donuts around.
Plenty of square footage of clean organic foods. There are a lot of vegan options as well as raw and vegetarian. They also offer gluten-free. The store is spacious and very clean with an easy to navigate lay-out. I never have trouble finding what I’m looking for.
I often will stop into Whole Foods when travelling to get lunch off of their hot/salad bar but I guess because it is a smaller store there were almost no vegan options available. Ended up having to go somewhere else to eat. The grocery section looked like it had a number of vegan products available though.
Great fresh produce, wide selection of bulk items, some items can be a little bit pricey but if you are a prime member you can get lots of deals, including 10% off your entire purchase, I am a vegan who goes to Whole Foods Market regular and am always satisfied with my purchase.
