There was a man waking around the store and stopped me to ask to buy a bag of chips for him and his daughter. I agreed I would because I have bad anxiety when alone in the store and was caught off guard. But after I bought the chips and continued shopping I see this same man asking another couple for money/food and see the couple hand him some cash. I also realized He had staff members putting away every food item for him that was purchased for him by a shopper like myself, so he could continue to walk through the store and ask for more help.. I already have really bad anxiety living in a town alone and I would like to shop without being bothered. Not to mention he asked me to buy him a $3 bag a chips and they rung up for $7. To me, the store management should have been made aware of this because people aren't going grocery shopping for these extra interactions. I feel bad for writing this and possibly coming off nasty. But I work hard and don't make much, so it kinda bothered me that they would just let this man walk around the store and ask several people to take care of him. I understand I could have simply said no but as I already said I have bad anxiety especially when first time interacting with someone and randomly being approached.

The reason I quit shopping at this Kroger was because I am an early shopper to beat the heat and heavy traffic. So I would go and when I got to the meat department it seemed the people that work in that department would not be on duty until 2 hours after I arrived to shop. When they were there I found out they would not grind sirloin for chili grind and actually would do nothing that you might need. Take what is on the counter or forget it. And of course, if ribeyes were on sale there were none left no matter if you came early in day or mid morning or evening. Always sold out. And if you went after work, 5 p.m., the sale products were never on the shelves, they had them in the back, but you had to ask someone and stand for 20 minutes waiting for them to bring whatever out. I finally quit going there, I shop at Brookshires now and will never go back across to Kroger. I have shopped the other Krogers in the are and they are perfectly great. Fresh produce, great baked goods, etc. Do not know why the one 4 blocks from my house is so bad. Kroger really needs to do a look see at this place, it is just plain not the place to shop

I have been buying groceries here every week for two years. I've never had an incident like tonight. I had the misfortune of being accosted by a con woman. She asked for help getting some items as she was on a motorized wheel chair scooter. When I was done getting them for her I told her I'd help her bag her things at the self checkout. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and put in an awful situation at a place i considered to be safe. Neither of the two associates running the self check out never stepped in or cared to ask me if I was ok or anything. They just continued talking. This woman's bill was $82. I guess I could've made a scene, but also the associates should've realized something wasn't right. We clearly didn't go together and anyone could see that. I did get someone's attention right after the fact, but they gave me no response whatsoever. I've been extremely shaken up and tried to call the store 3 times since I have left, but to no avail. I also allowed the phone to ring about 10 minutes each time I called. I certainly won't be back if this is how things are handled. It could rate zero I would've!

lines 15 deep waiting for the privilege to check yourself out. lines so long for the only 2 cashiers that people cannot even make their way between aisles. Total s**t show. They don't deserve our business. and employees heard talking about how they aren't scheduled to come back until 4 days from now, so don't say there are no people willing to work. This Kroger is Always short!

It"s hard to shop at a place when you are handicapped & need a cart to get around the store to shop. only to find 4 out of 5 were dead, not charged. And this was between 10 to 11 am. this is also the second time that this happened in days. This need to be taken care of.

I had a very good visit, the floral section was beautifully decorated as it is Easter Weekend. Picking up items for my family. I noticed the vegetarian section needs some TLC, A good selection but they don't sell as much as a regular item. I decided to get cupcakes, the Bakery was incredible, full reasonable prices, decadent choices! Very Good Visit!

I, myself am a manager of a restaurant so I know about customer service. i asked for three options for the situation that occurred today, and to each option I asked for i was told no. i took accountability for my mistake, however, to further just humiliate me by making me feel as if I am getting over or trying to con someone, that was just uncalled for.

On a holiday weekend when everyone is possibly losing their minds and the grocery carts are overflowing I have to say that shopping at this Krogers was a pleasure today From the young lady in the meat department who pointed out where the sale shrimp were to the manager who checked us out (BTW he makes an excellent cashier) to the bagger and finally to the young man in the parking lot who came over, helped us unload our cart, took the cart and waved pleasantly as he left, it was a good experience. Thank you Kroger Mansfield Rd for a good experience when it could have been hassled.
