Bella is awesome. Cakes are a bit small for the price compared to others, but delicious.

Update- 3rd one was also dry and something about the frosting this time is bad. Someone else in my family tried it and said it tasted kind of like lard. They also pointed out that they didn't remember the frosting being close to 3 inches thick. Not sure if that's to make up for the lack of filling this year or what.
I am hoping I just received a bad batch yesterday. We purchased 3 king cakes from here. 2 of the 3 we opened last night were dry and had minimal filling. This was unexpected because Lilahs has always had some of the most filled king cakes. The bit of filling we did have was delicious, just wish there had been more.
Also not sure if the frosting has changed or again if I just got a bad batch but it was overly sweet to the point it tasted fake, almost plastic like. For $80 worth of king cake, I'm hoping the final one is part of the good batch. Would definitely give it another shot because they have been good in previous years, just not sure what happened this time.

I had the opportunity to purchase one of the products in the Dallas Area from a well known restaurant. One of the guys told me about their King cake. Please save your money. You would be better off going to a gas station and purchasing a honey bun.

Great King cakes
We ordered a PRALINE cream cheese and a regular cinnamon cream cheese king cake. The praline one had no pralines. It was just a cream cheese king cake, which was moist and delicious, but not what we ordered. And then the original cinnamon with cream cheese, was dry and lacking the cream cheese. Not sure what exactly happened but the one that was not made correctly was good but the normal one was dry. Would not recommened for 35$ per king cake.

Lilah's is the best place in the Shreveport / Bossier area to get king cakes! They have a great selection of filled king cakes including cookie butter, Bavarian cream, raspberry and cream, etc. During the Mardi gras season they have weekly flavors that are worth checking out.

Not gonna lie, I'm a transplanted yankee. Been here for 20 years now. Honestly, over the years of trying this brand or this person's king cake, I just kind of figured that it was supposed to be dry. Not knocking it, just being honest. My husband loves king cake and a friend of mine kept talking about Lilah's. I was in the area, so I decided to stop. First off, she has the cutest little shop up front. I thought it was pretty cool that you could see the workers through a window setup inside the shop. Decided a cinnamon sugar king cake sounded safe. O.M.G!! It was so good! It really surprised me to some people say that they found it dry. It was the complete opposite. Within a week I was back for a strawberries and cream cheese. It was just as delicious!

I have always bought my King cakes from Lilahs and they have always been moist, delicious and spot on. This year my cakes were a bit on the dry side. Not happy.
Best king cake around
I finally ordered a cake from Lilahs after hearing how good they were. I paid $30 for a banana foster only to get home and bite into raw dough.
At least you get a fully baked cake at the grocery store.
I ordered my king cake after seeing their online ad. DISAPPOINTED to say the least. When I ordered I was only given express delivery options. I was ok with the 2 day delivery option which was the least expensive. My cake was supposed to arrive on Wednesday 2/26 however didn’t arrive until Saturday 3/1. It was very dry and tasteless. I DONT RECOMMEND Lilahs bakery. You may regret it as I do..
Yesterday I morning bought a strawberry cream cheese and i have been looking forward to eating it ALL DAY. finally sat down to eat it, and let me just say that it’s the most incredible thing I have ever eaten in my life. & I have had king cakes from every king cake place in the Shreveport area and this has beat all of them by far.
