We ordered a PRALINE cream cheese and a regular cinnamon cream cheese king cake. The praline one had no pralines. It was just a cream cheese king cake, which was moist and delicious, but not what we ordered. And then the original cinnamon with cream cheese, was dry and lacking the cream cheese. Not sure what exactly happened but the one that was not made correctly was good but the normal one was dry. Would not recommened for 35$ per king cake.
Lilah's is the best place in the Shreveport / Bossier area to get king cakes! They have a great selection of filled king cakes including cookie butter, Bavarian cream, raspberry and cream, etc. During the Mardi gras season they have weekly flavors that are worth checking out.
Not gonna lie, I'm a transplanted yankee. Been here for 20 years now. Honestly, over the years of trying this brand or this person's king cake, I just kind of figured that it was supposed to be dry.
