Chrystal was an amazing server! The food came out super quickly! My grandmother and I shared the delicious lasagna. One of my favorite restaurants! The mint tea is a must have.

I was greeted with the most warmest smile ever. The food was totally delicious. I had the shrimp aurora. Oh my goodness what a meal! I had gone there on Sunday and I had the Italian Cream Cake for dessert and all I will say about that is yummm!

My favorite Italian restaurant!! Crispy garlic bread toast dipped in that sweet marinara sauce…oh my goodness! Spiced sweet tea and stacked lasagna….trust me, you will never go home hungry!

In town visiting family. I moved away in the 80s and don't ever remember eating here. Was told it's been around forever and is really good, so we went.
Unlikely I will eat here again. Did not like their sweet sauce and the nonsweet isn't much better. Mom's eggplant for eggplant parm was very undercooked. I had chicken parm. A better sauce would have made it a highly recommended dish otherwise.

I'm from San antonio and when I went here I was amazed how different the food and service is here. Everyone very kind and awesome customer service and there mint tea is soooooooo good along with there food. I alway go here to eat when I'm visiting.

Let me start by saying we’ve eaten here for YEARS and it’s never been like this. They must have a new owner within the last year. I’ve visited 3x the last year. Each time thinking I just came on a bad day, at a bad time. The food doesn’t taste the same and it’s not good. Shrimp pasta salad was extremely dry and shrimp over cooked every single time I’ve come. And it’s just not hitting right I don’t know what’s going on. All of my family members who have also come for years are saying the same thing.I’ll be driving to bossier for sure.

I ate here when I was very much younger and was kinda excited to eat here again. My husband and I stopped by for lunch since we were in town. The decor was a little shocking to say the least but we decided to give it a try. The waitress came and took our order. That's when we really started looking around. The ceiling is decorated with what looks like old Christmas tree limbs intertwined with artificial grape vines and Christmas lights with grape bunches hanging down. THEN... there are Japanese Lanterns hanging down. Upon a closer look the very outdated ceiling garlands are covered in a very thick layer of dust and grime. (See pictures)
The waitress then brought a basket of toasted bread and marinara sauce for dipping. The marinara was a little on the sweet side for our liking but we thought ok, the entrée would balance it out. He ordered the shrimp Alfredo. The shrimp were cooked good and he said they were tasty but the Alfredo sauce was less the amount than he expected and it was very grainy. I ordered the lunch Lasagna. It arrived and I was surprised at the large portion. The only drawback was it was drowning in a pool of sauce. The same marinara sauce!! After a few bites I was thankful for the sauce because the Lasagna was very dry. It had plenty of layers but very little, if any, sauce between the layers. If the sauce had been more savory I probably could have eaten more. It was hard to relax and try to enjoy anything when you're afraid a dust bunny from the ceiling may decide to hop down on your plate. It's time to replace the 70's decor!!

Monjuni's is a Shreveport treasure. Their twice baked lasagna is a special favorite of our family.

The food was cool and we got there early. Just didn't stay under the salamander long enough. Had nvr had that happen before. Always no 1 for Italian food. Liz

Service was on point. Food was delicious. I had the chopped salad. Very good and decent amount of toppings. Dressing wasn't over powering. I also ordered a meatball. It was delicious. Love their sauce with bread too. Had half a meatball and good bit of salad leftover to bring home.

Man, I just love Monjuni’s. Used to have one in my town but it closes several years ago so we made the 1 hour trip to SHV for dinner. Everything was as we always expect. Great service, great atmosphere, and one of the most unique marinara gravies you will find. And the meatballs were out of this world.

Our server Taylor was amazing tonight. She was sweet, attentive, and we never lacked for anything. I highly recommend you ask for her.

Excellent service, pace and pricing. I’ve been to Italy 6 times and have eaten in PLENTY of restaurants there. NEVER have I have sweet marinara. Is there a desert marinara? The Italian dressing was even sweet. Maybe offer a sweet and not sweetened (except with carrots and not Dixie crystal sugar.) I highly recommend making an adjustment.

Cute place. We had great service from Ally. The food was OK. Not special. Lacking flavor. They do give large portions. Nothing seems homemade or unique. Pricey for what tastes like.frozen food with a twist.
