Pork chops tasted like they had went bad before they cooked them. (rancid) Cabbage had the exact same taste as the pork chops. I could only eat the sweet potatoes and bread after paying $12.00. tried to report to health department but that was so hard to do that I gave up.

Home-made food with sooo much love and care that you can taste it in every bite ? I ordered turkey neckbones with rice and gravy. They had so many options.

My "go to" place when I have that craving for food I grew up on. Never disappointed..Had chitterlings, mustard greens, dressing, candied yams, and dressing with gravy

I ordered the Chitterlings and they were by far the best I have ever eaten!!?They were scrumptious, clean, and melt in your mouth perfectly!!? I will definitely be buying more

Sally's Soul Food was delicious. After I seen customers posting on fb and I seen she had chitterlings I had to go try it. My wife had the chitterlings and I had the smothered porkchop. Everything was delicious and I will be back soon

Ok. So the area is a little shall I say not so safe? However, the restaurant staff was very friendly. The food was very fresh and absolutely melt in your mouth delicious!!! I’m from south Louisiana and gravely miss the food. My favorite is fried shrimp. I have never found a place anywhere that can make fried shrimp like small town Cajun back home, UNTIL NOW!!! This is the place!!!! I was never expecting this but I’m so happy that I found this place. I was so excited I had to call my daddy when I got home to tell him about it!! Awesome job!! Will definitely keep coming back!!

Great soul food in the heart of Tampa. Our first time, eating here at this restaurant. And I must admit it was great. Food was seasoned great and the front desk staff was excellent. Will return here again when I'm in Tampa..

I had read other reviews about mama's soul food kitchen and had added it to my must try list. I finally got around to going there this past Monday for lunch and glad I did. The restaurant itself is attached to a la. I ordered the chicken wing dinner with mac-n-cheese, rice and mashed potatos/gravy and my fiance ordered the oxtails with greens and corn. WOW! Mama put her foot in it. The food was great, the chicken was hot, crispy, yet still moist inside. The mac-n-cheese was so good I ate it first (this may be some of the best mac n cheese I've had in the bay area). The greens and potatos and gravy were also amazing...I really can't say enough good things about their sides. I brought my 1 chicken wing and side left overs home and they were devoured before dinner. The prices were also very reasonable. True soul food is hard to come by in Tampa and mamas kitchen has done it. This will be my new soul food craving spot.
