Stopped on a motorcycle journey to Shrevport. It was Sunday, New Year's Day, and almost everything was closed, but Sam's was open. Nothing fancy, just great order-at-the-counter Southern food. Marvelous!!!!

I liked pretty much everything about this place. Its small with only a few tables. Its attached to a casino which I found interesting. Good price & the food was good also. Clean with plenty of parking.

Best catfish in town! Hidden gem and needs to be discovered! Catfish was made fresh and flavorful. We couldn’t get enough. Highly recommended! Don’t miss out!!!

A good price for some good food. I had a Crawfish po'boy and my wife had the oyster po'boy. Both were served with plenty of their respective items with extra on the plate. The sandwiches in guessing are 10" and the price made it a great deal. Service was good and food was delivered fast and hot.

Well I went in today to get me and my husband a 6 piece meal it says 6.99 they charged me 10.50 for each meal!!! Food wasn’t cooked all the way and the black lady in there had a horrible attitude !! It’s not the first time she’s had me going back n forth messing up my order! I will NEVER I repeat NEVER go back again it was so humiliating !! She didn’t even have our fish in there that we ordered so I had to go back a second time around and she apologized and said it was on her this time And then didn’t even give me my change back I guess she thought she was gonna get to keep her tip idk !! HELL NO !! Anyway I called and she got an attitude and I had to argue with her for 5 minutes until she finally put the SO CALLED manager on the phone . I don’t even believe he was the manager so anyway he said he would give it to me at the drive thru well I get up there and she’s standing there with a crazy look on her face like she’s gonna do something well I told her she wasn’t getting no tip from me so on I left and WONT EVER RETURN! Anyway My husband works on all the trucks around there we were VERY hungry and had a stressful morning as is so thank you very much people !!! You lost our service we won’t go back even if starving !!✍???????????VERY VERY POOR !!!!!

Nondescript appearance, good food, good prices, excellent service. I had crab cakes to go; side of coleslaw and dirty rice. The crab cakes were large and tasty, coleslaw was excellent, the rice did not impress me. The food was prepared pretty quickly; after placing my order I had enough time for a quick visit to the ladies' room (clean) and to fill my cup with a complimentary drink, and my order was ready to go. The young lady working the counter could not have been more pleasant or proficient. A good, quick meal if you are in the area.

Every time I’m in Brownwood I make sure I stop here and eat! One of my favorite places. They give you a lot so go hungry! Nice atmosphere and very good employees

I've visited this location 4 times now. 3 of the 4 times my order has been incorrect. I would also suggest checking your sauces before you leave because particular employees at this location don't which sauces are which. I won't be back after this many screw ups.
