This location seemed so promising when we walked in!! The other’s of this “chain” are much smaller and only order at the counter (some have tables) that we know of.
However, all the tables were dirty, and to be blunt, the staff was lazy. They had no respect for customers times. Almost all of the fried food was overcooked. This has never happened at any of the other locations. To pay the bill took over 15 minutes. I can not recommend.

I had a recent experience at the location in Natchitoches that was not so great. My Shreveport hotel clerk highly recommended the Shreveport location and I almost turned it down. She raved about how her and her family loved it. So, I decided to hive it a shot and was very happy I did so. KayKay was my server and she did an amazing job. The food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience was outstanding. So glad I gave this location a chance!

It was delicious and so much of it. It’s a shame we were just passing through because this is a place I’d enjoy going to frequently. I recommend trying it.

Sam’s Southern Eatery is one of my favorite restaurants! Ms. Sharon is my favorite server! She is always nice, friendly, courteous, respectful, knowledgeable and professional! Ms. Sharon provides outstanding customer service!
The cooks are awesome! They do an amazing job. My food is always delicious and displayed beautifully on my plate. My favorite dish is the grilled chicken salad. It is wonderful! Sam’s Southern Eatery deserves a “Gold Star” rating of “10”!
