Fried Catfish- Very good. Hot and fresh. Just very small. The whole fillet was cut in half and sold as a two-piece. Not a two-piece at all. One piece sold as two. Would not buy it again only for this reason.
Crawfish Etouffe is tasty but has too much rice. Not a balanced proportion of Etouffe to rice.
Gumbo. Not good at all. Watery, not tasty, and doesn't look or taste like gumbo.
I'll be back for the Boudin over and over.

Order the 2 meat meal the ribs were hard as a rock and also received the wrong sides. The desert was the only thing that was good.. also an up charge if you pay with a card vs Cash..

The crawfish was bland and seemingly scrimpy and did not look like 3 pounds, which is the minimum. Some were big, but that is about all I can say...
The potatoes were mushy, Not just because they were overcooked. The corn was perfect.
Sauces, butter cost extra.
We are not new to Shane's.
Disappointed.

Crawfish way undercooked almost raw. Inedible. Apparently managers only work there when they feel like it. If you want seafood. Go to a seafood restaurant. Not a restaurant that sells BBQ.

It's an "order at the counter, fix your own drink" kinda place. The staff did help with input on the dishes. The girl on the register doesn't eat fish. She was no help. My wife had fried shrimp. They looked good. She was happy. I had fried catfish fillet. I liked it. Lightly battered and fried. They could have been a little more crispy. The fries were ok. Just fries. The slaw was good. They are a bit stingy with it. I saw some of the crawfish come out. It looked good.

Worst catfish I've ever had. Wasn't even sure it was possible to screw up catfish in the south, but I stand corrected. I ordered the grilled catfish, it looked like it was baked at best, no seasoning, and had a terrible bloodline fish flavor to it. I got the 6 piece, and could barely eat 1 piece. Lots of money gone to waste. Green beans were below average, sweet potato fries were average pre frozen, the Ceasars salad was forgot when I picked up. It doesn't come with enough dressing and is below average.
My wife's bbq ribs were decent. I'd say stick to the BBQ if you eat here.
Overall do not recommend for the price.
