My wife and I ate there for the first time yesterday. The service was great. All the food was very good and the chocolate pie was the best I’ve ever eaten. We will be back.

What a great little café. I had the biscuits and gravy and my wife had the French toast and both were fresh and delicious. Fine cup of coffee, too. Love the view of the runway. The whole feel of the Downtown Shreveport airport feels like a time capsule from another era, similar to the Louisiana Exhibition Museum or Herbie Ks and not totally out of step with the mood of a David Lynch film. Breakfast was welcoming and quiet but I hear that the lunches are packed. So fingers crossed they have a good run of it. I highly recommend it.

The Sky Grill’s Aviation Burger is one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Tim and Brenda do a wonderful job serving up some of the best breakfast and lunch dishes from their grill. The Sky Grill’s atmosphere is unique with planes coming and going that entertain as you dine in an environment just right for a restaurant inside the Downtown Airport!

If you know you are going to be on national TV, you should of cleaned that nasty grill. That was the most nasty looking grill I have ever seen. The health department needs to step in and do something about it.

I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s amazing from the service to the food! My husband and I went today for lunch looking for options to spend our anniversary and we decided to try a new place so we went to sky grill and it did not disappoint!! We had the loaded Mac and cheese and I think it’s one of the best we’ve ever tried, I had the patty melt and I’m still thinking about the piece I didn’t finish!! Owners are there and you can feel the great energy of their staff!!! If you have kids it’s a great spot. you get to see the planes take off and land which your kids will love. We definitely will be back!!!
