It is absolutely fine for a casino restaurant. Pretty good burgers and pasta and a friendly staff.

Order the chicken special.. they should have called it a veggie special. The drumstick is smaller than my thumb

Our server was super sweet. But our food was not the best. My husband ordered the filet pretty sure it was not one. I have never seen one look they way it did. When we said something about it our server even said it didn't look right. She took to the back. The manager said they would not do anything because my husband ate some of it. He barely ate half and was very un happy with his meal. You can at least discount or come and talk to us if ypu sont want to take the meal of our check. My fried pork chops were ok but our nachos were cold.

I have worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years and I am a manager at 1. I would never treat my guest this way.

I give two stars as I was unable to dine. They were at about 20% capacity and they said "come back in 30 minutes while we catch up". We were able to go next door to Bally's deli and eat right away.

I would like to say they are good at making you feel good but the sell you food for 3 days before. Pest is just another story Ive seen roaches crawl out of the lettuce. The restaurant is very rude and unsanitary. Please don't waste your time with this people.

Shrimp were salty. Rice and gravy very bland, no seasoning. Wings were also bland. Asked for cup of gumbo and did not receive it. Spend $70+ and food was horrible. If I could give a half star I would.

We went into Smokey Joe's IN NEED of a good breakfast. Unfortunately, the grits with our breakfast wasn't even lukewarm. The toast, eggs and bacon was fine. The waitress wanted to give me more grits but I didn't want them, my appetite was ruined.

The food was fantastic and hot, they have weird hours. I am used to Vegas where everything is open all of the time. They have an awesome special Sundays for a big steak meal but I missed it. I got the shrimp po-boy and it came out fresh and delicious.

The server was very nice and was on top of everything. Thank you guys so much. And the pricing is not that expensive like you would expect inside a a resort.

Food was really subpar, especially steak - hard to describe but it was not edible. Service, however, was awesome! Our waitress was great!

I favor locally owned business, but I cannot dare hold it against this great eatery that it is a casino franchise. The prices are great. The catfish platter is the best I've had in a while. Currently, this is my favorite catfish. The side salad was an actual salad, rather than piecemeal in a small cup. The food and service is consistent. That is definitely a plus. Downtown Shreveport is lucky to have Smokey Joe's.
