I'm gonna sound like the fatass American I am ?, but Southern Maid Donuts is the BEST Louisiana Donut shop. Sure, they're a little pricey, but they sure as hell taste good!? My grandpa said that he went to Southern Maid when he was working on the Shreveport Fire Dept in the 80's. I usually get glazed, but I might try their filled donuts. Thank you for being a part of my life, Southern Maid Donuts. ☺️
They really had nothing to choose from, sadly. It wasn't even late when we showed up. Like, how do you run a business with no stock lol. Donuts were good but- we didn't get what we wanted because of not having stuff up in time.
Loved coming here as a kid, they always had my favorites and my family knows the owners personally. They are very thoughtful caring people who wanna make a difference in the community and this is how they do it.
