My first time to this legendary Shreveport institution. They were making the donuts in front of you. As a donut connoisseur and having enjoyed them all over America, Southern Maid is in my top five best there is nationwide. As local as they come! Stop by any location, you won’t be disappointed.
Easily the BEST Southern Maid in Shreveport/Bossier. By a LONG shot. Been this way since I was going to school at Vo-Tech in the 2009! I used to get a dozen glazed every morning before school lol.
The other stores can't stand up to this one. They always have a thicker layer of icing and the donuts are always very light & fluffy. Love this store!
