Strawberry pie is the best!!! The coconut cream is good but really rich & sweet, but still oh so good! But that strawberry pie hits!

What a great place to grab some some lunch in Shreveport. The service was fast and very friendly. The plate lunch specials are awesome. I wish they were closer than 3 hours. Will definitely be back when we are in the area. Make sure and have some pie.

Great service and EXCELLENT ice box pie but the break was not good. The advertise hash browns but it was basically cubed french fries.

Best breakfast place in town. Everything on the menu is good. High end diner food. Just like mama makes.

I picked up a quick cheeseburger and slice of the famous ice box pie! I was amazed at the pie!! I tried the Strawberry, and now I want to try every flavor. And the cheeseburger was just the right blend of messy and yummy! The staff was very friendly and helpful!

We had the Tuesday lunch specials. I had chicken fried steak, hubby had chicken and dumplings. Enjoyed the sides! I usually would not eat Lima beans, but it came with the special. They had ham in them and were delicious. The okra & tomatoes were good. The chicken fried steak was tender and without any gristle. Waitresses were fast & friendly, but loud. Coconut pie was good, but a cream topping, not meringue. Murals about the history of the cafe were painted on 3 walls.

EVERYONE BEWARE!!! OWNER - HEATHER - overcharges her customers on a regular basis and pockets the money!!!!! This is fact, as she has done it to us almost every time we have been in there. I politely asked for someone else to check us out at the register and she got extremely defensive and told us not to come back. We love the servers and cooks, so this is very unfortunate. DO NOT RECOMMEND - OWNER IS A THIEF!!!

The food was below average. The biscuits should not be called biscuits. They should be called a greasy dense bread roll. The "hashbrowns" are just uncooked cubes of potatoes. The bacon was good and the eggs were good. And the service was really good. For $15, I want more thanaverage eggs and bacon.

Been coming here over 7 years now! I don't know where my mind been, just tried the strawberry pie and oh my!!!! All I can say is get that pie by the slice or whole! The service and food is always good to me! Karen is the sweetest and quickest server, just great customer service!Park in front if there are spots, or go around the building on next street to the back and plenty parking there, just go up the stairs and your in!Definitely a recommended restaurant for locals or travelers like myself!!!???Parking: Go around the next street and park behind the strip center with ease!!
