I went to stay cats for the first time in a while and the bartender Joseph was rude and was trying to make me and my friend get the same shots when she wanted something different. And he proceeded to be rude and gave us a shot so he won't get a bad yelp review. He mentioned "here are some shots so I won't get a bad review"

Small place with an easy feel about it in downtown Shreveport. Easy walking distance to several other places for people wanting to roam around. Pretty good selection of popular beer include a couple of Abita beer options. Obviously they also carry your mainstream non local options as well. Not a bad place to have a drink and a conversation without having to scream to hear yourself talk or hear the other person talk. Would recommend it to someone looking to grab a quick drink. Did not have any food so can't speak to it.

I loved it!!! It's so chill and ducked off! It has a upstairs outside patio and they had a lice violinist!!! The vibe was immaculate! The drinks are great but im definitely going to try the food when I get a chance!!! The staff are kind and laid back. Going back for sure!

Be careful if you go there if the bartenders don't like you they'll call the cops on you very quick and try to have you arrested. I was there on a date one night and the bartender didn't like me. And thought I shouldn't be with her girlfriend there and had called the cops on me while she was in the bathroom never will I go there again

The ramen served Thurs - Saturday nights is amazing. A popular late night food hangout place, the wings, dumplings(gyoza) and ramen are all delicious, cooked fresh with fresh, high quality and unique ingredients. Their recipes are truly one of a kind, and each bowl is made fresh. Although the prices are a little high, the food quality and the atmosphere make it well worth it. The only somewhat downside is the food is made and served outside in the back patio area, and they occasionally run out of food early on busy nights

If you go to one bar while you're passing through Shreveport It should be Straycat. Great atmosphere / outdoor seating.

I came to Shreveport for a wedding, I left with a completely unexpected and incredible experience at the straycat. I immediately loved the place, a classic dark bar with strong drinks and wonderful staff. But to my surprise, there was a magical courtyard that when entering I felt I was walking into a lost temple of partying. There was an additional bar, a DJ, dancing and an overall wonderful experience. If you're looking for a solid time, look no further. I did not try the food, but others at the wedding said the food was a must. An 11/10 experience, this place is great.
