I've been to Sugar Lou's several times for lunch, and they never fail to impress. Not only do they offer a wide variety of menu items, but they also take requests for custom orders. Good food and great service. I would recommend this to anyone working in the Louisiana Tower/ downtown Shreveport if they want something good and affordable for lunch.

I followed the map but couldn't find the restaurant and had to go somewhere else.
Fantastic food on the 2nd floor. I had a basic cheeseburger and Fries but I was surprised by the taste and lack of grease and the cheap price. If I'm ever nearby again I'm definitely going to come back

One of the best patty melts I’ve eaten. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

In town for a wedding and was craving some good Cajun food. I found Sugar Lou's via google. It was a little difficult to find as it was inside an office building but the effort to find it was so worth it. I love asking restaurants their recommendations and seeing what comes out and Sugar Lou's did not disappoint at all. The catfish Po boy with fries was some of the best catfish I have ever had. The greens also are something I'd make another trip to Shreveport for. The young man (Caleb, I hope I spelled his name right) behind the counter was extremely nice, friendly and extremely proud of his work (as he should be). I really have to say this place is a gem and well worth the trip. Keep up the great work Caleb, just slow down and enjoy it when you can. I promise I will be back.
Not impressed. Never going back. Nothing special about the lunch special, Gave us child sized portions. Woman operating cash register also prepared our salads with only one gloved hand.

This restaurant, located on the second floor has the best Catfish Poboy.
Not a ton of seating, but great to slip in and grab a bite. Great for takeout, it's cooked fresh so call a head or give it time.
When I stopped in hours were:
10:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Vegetarian options: Veggie Burgers, black bean burgers, sometimes vegetarian Chicken. Just ask.
