I've been to Sugar Lou's several times for lunch, and they never fail to impress. Not only do they offer a wide variety of menu items, but they also take requests for custom orders. Good food and great service. I would recommend this to anyone working in the Louisiana Tower/ downtown Shreveport if they want something good and affordable for lunch.
Fantastic food on the 2nd floor. I had a basic cheeseburger and Fries but I was surprised by the taste and lack of grease and the cheap price. If I'm ever nearby again I'm definitely going to come back
In town for a wedding and was craving some good Cajun food. I found Sugar Lou's via google. It was a little difficult to find as it was inside an office building but the effort to find it was so worth it. I love asking restaurants their recommendations and seeing what comes out and Sugar Lou's did not disappoint at all. The catfish Po boy with fries was some of the best catfish I have ever had. The greens also are something I'd make another trip to Shreveport for....
