We intended to get ice cream (and sampled a few which were good) but ended up getting their snow cones which were also very good. Service was friendly. They make all their own sweets. The shop was done in a mid-century modern vibe. It was nice. Definitely recommend.

This ice cream is delicious. We tried the campfire and the coffee flavors. They were fantastic. The shakes are also excellent. This is a local independent ice cream shop and it’s a must, especially on hot days! A Shreveport favorite.

This is a local spot and all the ice cream is homemade!While visiting my hometown, we saw this place and gave it a try.I think it was the best ice cream I have ever had! I had the Cypress black brew coffee ice cream but tried a few others, and the taste and texture is amazing!Thanks, Sweetport, for a genuine hometown treat :)

Went today and took both my boys (4yr old and 5 1/2 month old) to see Santa. I was by myself and didn’t have anyone to go with me. While trying to convince my 4 yr old that Santa was nice and not scary, the owner went above and beyond the call of duty and helped comfort/entertain my 5 month old. It was such a HUGE help!!!! We finally got the absolute best photos and completely helped make a sweet little boy’s Christmas even better!!!
We also got a scoop of ice cream and two of the mini Black Forest cakes. All were DELICIOUS! Thank you so sooooo much to all the sweet staff working today. I will certainly rave to everyone how amazing everyone is at Sweetport and the desserts are the cherry on top! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
