My husband had the Island Smash burger with queso and he finished it in the parking lot and then asked me to go buy another one! I was able to sneak a bite and mannnn! I wanted to go in for a third! It is absolutely delicious!! I now have my notifications on because I need to try everything on the menu! Impressed is an understatement!!

My comfort food....Dee and Robyn you guys are amazing. Thanks for being dedicated to your resturant. I get truly happy every time I eat from you guys....it reminds me of home and it truly makes me happy ?.....ya eating food makes me happy??

Customer service was by far the best in the city. I never have to wait long on my food. The food is always hot and delicious. Oxtails and butter beans are my favorite. One of the best food trucks around. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hands down the best food in Shreveport! Chef Dee and Chef Robyn are so sweet and man can they cook! This is our second time eating here and we tried the Jerk Chicken with Rice and Beans, Pineapple Cornbread, and the Brisket Nachos this time!The chicken was spiced just right without being overly salty and it fell off the bone the rice and beans were perfect and the nachos were so flavorful and just the perfect amount of seasoning! And the cornbread was such a treat it tastes like dessert! And the price is great we only spent $32 and got very large portions! 1000000/10!

The atmosphere is very laid back! I couldn't wait to taste the oxtail with butter beans, rice and peas! Let me tell you, I had to pace myself because I almost hurt myself!!! Lol the Sorrell was amazing! Kudos to the service. They made sure we were taking care of, making sure we had what we needed. Also our server ensured that we enjoy our food. Also was able to give recommendations! I highly recommend!! Please follow this restaurant on instagram!!

The food is so good, I refuse to eat any other food truck. Their food is flavorful, great proportions, with great spice. They are neat and clean and a must try place.

This is NOT Jamaican food! Not even yaad food cousin...The portions are sloppy and prices extreme. The flavors needs help!! The food was cold and did not taste fresh. I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with the food from this place. If you are looking for authentic Jamaican Yaad food, you will not find it at this spot.

Great food. I was able to visit a few times in the past. I was excited to try ox tail for the first time and it was even better than I expected. I am also glad to have been able to try the jerk chicken, the curry chicken, and the island smash burger. The ox tail, curry, and jerk chicken are all some of the best comfort food I have ever had. The burger was equally amazing. I got queso on it and the jerk flavor goes really well with the patty and brisket. Definitely planning on coming back.

Best Jamaican I have had here in the states. The owners are so personable and they make you feel like family. The portions are larger than I expected. I ate off of one plate of food for two days. The Macaroni & Cheese was a delightful treat, along side the Jerk chicken, cabbage and their famous pineapple cornbread. What a great combination of flavors. The Island Berry Lemonade is a must to wash it all down ?

The Chicken is absolutely amazing. I ordered the jerk chicken with Mac and cheese please try it out. The chicken falls off the bone and it’s seasoned to the grissel. Literally unbelievable

If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Jamaican style Ox tails in the Shreveport area, this is the place to go.I have tried a lot of ox tails in Shreveport and this by far is my favorite.I get them WEEKLY!!Also the staff is super sweet

Y’all, this food is so good. There hasn’t been a single thing that I’ve had that I haven’t loved. Every time I see them, I get their food. It fixes your soul. Next time, get the smash burger and add queso. It’ll change your life.
