Food, service was great....place small and cramped, seem like you're being hurried through the line...Bought for my mom and she enjoyed it... in and out in a short period of time
Once a week, I stop in at Taylor's for lunch! The food is always hot, seasoned, and flavorful. You don't have to worry about them being stingy either b/c you ALWAYS get plenty of food. Sometimes enough for dinner. It's cafeteria style, so there is no wait time unless you are getting seafood. it's cooked to order. Don't skip the Kool-Aid or any of the many homemade desserts. I always get the banana pudding.
You can’t be in Shreveport ,La without eating some real soul food. I was told to go to Taylor’s Catering and Soul Food, and this place did not disappoint! In Louisiana they cook with what is called the holy Trinity Onions, Celery and Bell peppers in every dish.
I explained to the owner that I was allergic to onions and they made me some Neck Bones and Beef tips in a gravy without onions. This is a 5 star soul food establishment.
