All I have to say is this, wait on all customers as if you care and stop showing favoritism. We see the waitress every blue moon, we had to send for her she was nowhere to be founded. The food was horrible. 70 dollars wasted, I would've done better going to Golden you know who. Will not be back and I don't plan to return.

Visit this restaurant for lunch, it took my waitress exactly 20 minutes to come to the table, she took the order, took her forever to come back to our table. My rice was and looked like mashed potatoes. My rice had humps and was matted together like grits. My grave tasted like water and flour with salt added. It took us 30 minutes to get our order (it wasn't busy) and 15 minutes to get drinks refill. Had to stop someone else to get drinks refill. My stomach is still upset from the food. That was my first and last time eating there.

My husband and I had pleasure of celebrating my 50th birthday today with our first visit to The Pearl. We had the most incredible meal as well as the most amazing server ( Emily) who made this a memorable meal. Can not wait to visit again with our family and friends. First of all I would like to start out with the fact that the owner is really nice and I appreciate him coming out and checking on all his guests while we were there. I have been wanting to try the Pearl for a long time and it just so happened that I noticed that it is open for lunch on this Wednesday. We decided to pop in. The most disappointing thing is learning it had a limited menu. I would have loved to have had the brisket grits but they were not the daily special for Wednesday, my sister would have loved the Cajun Meatloaf but it wasn’t a special that day. The service was good but unfortunately the food was not perfect (hardly any place is). The brisket fries were delicious and everyone in the party said we would absolutely get them again. The onion rings were bland, saltless, and over done. Your take on a muffuletta is strange and the provolone is a real sharp one. Most people would not appreciate. . The sandwhiches were also dry and needed more sauce added to them. The gumbo is flavorful and is a great price but I personally think it would taste a little better with slightly less pepper. They are starting a new lunch menu next week and I will be back. It has way more options than the current one. I would love to still try the Pearl for dinner and I plan on it in the near future.

We had such a great dinner at The Pearl tonight! The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed, and there wasn’t a long wait which was a plus. He ordered the Skirt Steak and I had the Crawfish Caroline pasta. Both dishes were full of flavor and absolutely delicious. On top of that, the customer service was excellent all around. Definitely a new spot we’ll be adding to our regular “out-to-eat” nights!

I had the pecan crusted catfish with mixed veggies and french green beans and fried green tomatoes for appetizer both were amazing flavor combinations and my fish was cooked perfectly. My friend had raw oysters for an appetizer the first batch was good the second came out warm with a funky taste but they took them back and didnt charge for it. Also main entree was Mississippi Red again fish was cooked to perfection. The bread pudding was recommended but it was like so many other places DRY even with the added ice cream which I didnt get but tried the other just to see and not a fan. Overall I will eat here again prices and portions comparable to other places with attentive waitstaff.

Our server Jeff was amazing and gave great recommendations especially since we had our picky kiddos with us. We will definitely return as we greatly enjoyed the food and service. My first experience yesterday at The Pearl was outstanding. We enjoyed the oyster sampler and the pecan-crusted catfish. Julianna who served our group was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent wine choices. It was a wonderful meal in a sophisticated atmosphere.

Our food was delicious. We got the catch of the day, a crawfish pasta dish, bread pudding, boudin dip, and 3 different drink. Calypso was our favorite drink! Our server was Taylor and she was wonderful. Every time I eat here I’m impressed.

The food and service were excellent. We sat at the bar and the bartender and our server, Landon, was as good as you can get. We had the oysters and the fish the day. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were outstanding. I am very picky as I used to have a large place myself in Alabama, I highly recommend The pearl. We are already planning our next outing there.
