This location is in south Shreveport on Bert Kouns. Eat here occasionally when I'm in the area. Food has always been great as well as the service. If looking for a quick filling meal right off I-49 then stop in.

The manager decided to tell the entire dining room to shut up. Seems she couldn't hear herself yelling out orders to an overwhelmed staff. Tes, she yelled, top of her voice for everyone to "shut up."Not a very clean waffle house and mixed clients from gang bangers to church goers. Skip this place if it is a busy time.

Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't think so.

Waffle Houses in general are underrated. This one stands above the rest. Staff are always fast and professional. Never a long wait despite how busy they are.

The only reason for the four stars in the atmosphere is because no one goes to a WH for atmosphere, its a dinner. Unpopular native Shreveportian opinion WH is better than Strawn's. How can you be a breakfast dinner in the South and constantly out of grits... That's like going to a steak house...
