Had a stand greek gyro here. Really outstanding! Packed with meat as well. I'm not a local but next time I'm in Shreveport I'll come back here!

Me and my boyfriend went here for our one year anniversary, and were sorely disappointed. I’ve been going here for years and have had no problems, but today was different. Our server was nice, but once the food came out, I took two warm bites of my moussaka before hitting cold cheese and meat. It was like they took a piece out of a batch that was hours old and slightly microwaved it. My boyfriend’s Kallipso panini had no flavor at all and was mainly lettuce. The only good thing was the fries. Our server was really sweet about it and gave us a discount, but we won’t be back anytime soon.

Fries were really good, but sadly gyro was not what I would consider a positive experience. Falafel was grainy and undercooked. Lots of filler lettuce. Really wanted to love this place, just wasn't a fan.

Do you ever wish you were born in some nameless village in Greece where everyone knew your family and your cousin and your cousin’s cousin? There would be a restaurant tucked cozily in one of the romantic alleys. The lights from within would fill the whole street outside and there would be the sound of sizzling coming from within the kitchen. You would walk down the way to that place every Sunday night and the owner would save that special table just for you right outside the front door under the blue and white striped umbrellas. When you arrived he would welcome you and quickly bring you a freshly dripped Greek coffee. You would sit there while the smell of lamb and chicken gyros floated through the air. You look at the menu but you already knew what to order.
Now imagine that small town Greece feeling being transported to the other side of the world in a city called Shreveport, Louisiana. That’s the feeling you get when you go to Yeero Yeero on Youree Drive (La 1). It feels like going to your favorite spot. They will treat you like family and bring you freshly dripped coffee as you sit. You can even almost smell the ocean wafting through the atmosphere and we haven’t even arrived to the food yet.
Whether you choose a traditional Gyro or some other option such as their Athenian Garden Salad or Portobello Kabob you will wish the food never ended. Of course you couldn’t eat another bite with their very generous portion sizes! The flavor bursting from every bite transports you back to Greece with every delight taste.

I absolutely love Yeero-Yeero, it's one of my favorite places to get dinner. I love the food, the kitchen staff and waiters/waitresses are super nice. The food is always delicious and meets expectations.Parking: Very cramped business, not a lot of driving area, line wraps around building for the drive thru and can make it difficult to navigate.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility on both sides of the restaurant.
