Found this place searching Google while visiting Ferriday. The five star rating is not a fluke. The home made hamburgers were delicious according to my mother and grandma and from a small bite I managed to get. 😆 I will definitely be back. During the week! 😉
Owner is Mark Harris, Chef par excellence. Forget about the menu. Mark cooks homemade food right in front of you. Warning! Do NOT say you are starving. You will not be able to eat all the food he puts in front of you, despite being the best food you have ever had in your life. Everyone who drops by to eat here is friendly. I drive an hour just to have lunch.
Mark is a kind and hilarious man, and he cooks everything in front of you while he talks to you. If you're starving, get the Sister Powell burger! Best burger you will ever eat!
