Every time I go to Carter Bar & Grill the servers are always so nice and the food is great! It is one of my favorite places to go get a bite to eat! Mariah’s lasagna is the best!

The food was perfectly adequate for the price, but would have been well served by using less salt. The steak was definitely overcooked. Waitstaff were extremely polite and helped out right away with any issues, though.

Had fun but lost a wedge that was found but pro shop was closed by the time I ended the round, when I came back the next week to pick it up it grew legs. I would recommend to play but keep an eye on equipment, staff has sticky fingers.

We have always had good meals at Carter Plantation . The filet bites are delicious and I get the Cuban sandwich almost every time. Love it!

The course is great. Greens are usually in good condition. Range is nice. Food is okay. Pro shop is pretty decent size. I've been going to carter for the last year now almost once a month. The reason for 3 stars is the slow pace it has been these last few months. I'm not a good golfer, 90s, so me complaining about pace of play should say something. Last time a friend and I went it took 5 hours and had 3 groups waiting to tee off at the 7th hole. I don't know if it's tee time issues or slow players but something has to change soon.

Poor service, rude marshals made for a bad day! Paid a lot of money for outdoor recreation, instead treated like we were at work, stuck to a schedule I don't recommend, especially for the price!! It's a shame, we were super excited to play this course but then ruined by their people.

Beautiful course to play. I really like the new carts with the GPS to tell you the distance to the greens and electronic score cards. They also have Bluetooth capabilities if you like to listen to music while you play.
Don't leave your range finder in the cart, you won't get it back! Phoned early the following morning and told them the cart number, where it was left and what time I finished. Guess I should look for it on E-Bay.
