This is a nice place, and the staff is very friendly, but the food is subpar to say the least. The Poboy bread was incredibly soft no crispiness on the outside, like it's supposed to be at all the shrimp were tiny and tasteless and the gumbo like they used, frozen crawfish and shrimpgranted I didn't try their steak but I don't think it's worth the trip all the way out here to Springfield to try it again

Our waitress was very good, but our order took a very long time to arrive at the table. I had the Victoria platter. My rice was not cooked in my gumbo, the grilled shrimp were undercooked, fried shrimp were cold. I only ate the stuffing around the stuffed shrimp. Will not be going back.

Tonight 2/23/24 me and my boyfriend went to Charlie's and we have only been maybe a handful of times properly less than that. When we go we normally tip between 10-15$ cash on our 30$ bill that we have. The last time we were we were short on cash so we tipped what we had and that was that. well tonight 2/23/24 we were treated very rudely. We got to there about 6:30 and didn't leave out till almost 9:00. When we sat down we got our drinks and then told the waitress ( Elizabeth) that we wanted the Charlie plater that took about an hour and half to get. During our meal we were not asked if we needed our drinks refreshed or anything. At the end of our meal I ordered a to go poboy. We waited for 30 minutes before I asked where my food was and all they could tell me was o it's gonna be another almost 2 hours. I said no I want a refund get to the counter to get a refund and all I get is told that we should tip better and then maybe we will get our food quicker and no one likes us there and that she can only give me a refund on a gift card and not my money back.

The Steak was Good, I ordered Medium and got more of a Medium Well to Well, it was Tasty but over cooked for MY taste. The rest of the Dinner was Good.

We had the Friday special 3 piece fried catfish came with coleslaw and fries, drinks and banana pudding for around 12 bucks ea. We also got the handmade onion rings app. Everything was great. Best catfish I've had in awhile. We going to repeat this for sure.Parking: Motorcycle parking ( concrete )

As much as I love the food, please change your online menu. I usually eat in, but today I called in a pickup order for a #1 on the online menu, only to get there and it was something totally different at twice the cost. When I got home , there was no salad. So please change your online menu and I will definitely check my order before I leave.
This place used to be good with great food and you didn’t leave hungry ive gone there every week at least once a week for the last 5 weeks and order the lunch chicken tenders every time except today I got three tenders with fries today two small tenders and fries I felt like I paid 10.95 for a plate of fries also asked for bread and got charged for these little slices of bread soaked in butter it was so unedible I don’t know what happened here but it’s horrible won’t go back and will drive to Marlies in French settlement to get the food this place used to serve don’t know if the sold Charlie’s before opening Marlies but Charlie’s is no good anymore!!!!!
