First I will say. I want this restaurant to succeed. We don’t have many in this small town. We have been a few times and each time it was good or bad. We went one night and they were out of everything we wanted so we left. Yesterday morning we went for breakfast we were the only ones there. No orange juice. this was not the first time we went and they said they didn’t have any. There is a dollar store right across the street.
It took forever for our food to come out and when it did, I had burned toast. We did ask for some more and they brought it, but by then my eggs were cold. Also, I can’t quite understand why the air conditioning doesn’t work. they say they put new ones in. Now on the positive side. We have gone and everything was great. I hope this review helps because again I want y’all to succeed. Thanks

Under cooked fries and no salt or pepper on anything. With a dollar store across the street and a grocery store down the road. The waitress was on their phone and the owner/manager was right there and said nothing. 45 minutes wait with no one checking on us is unacceptable. Didn’t fill welcomed at all. Hope it was just a bad day or something.DeQuincy deserves better.

Unfortunately, my experience with Dave’s was less than satisfactory. I called to place a to-go order, hoping for a quick and easy process, but the service was disappointing. The staff member on the phone was unhelpful, unable to provide basic information about the dessert options, claiming 'they haven’t taken it out of the oven' without making any effort to check. Furthermore, I wasn't given an estimated time for pickup or even a simple 'thank you.' As someone working long hours in the heat, I was just looking for a taste of home, and the lack of courtesy and communication made the experience all the more disheartening. It’s hot, I’m carrying a whole other human being, and I’m moody. I had great experiences in the past but as much as I want this restaurant to succeed, no tip was given on my end. Whenever you work in a job that involves customer service and especially a job where your income is from YOUR customers, you would think it wouldn’t hurt to be a little bit more helpful/respectful.

Today Dave's diner decided to let me walk in at 12:45...let me order my food..finally got my food at 1:10...then I was told they were closing from 1 to 2 for a meeting...after telling me I was trying to hang out...I don't know how fast people normally eat but Evidently 4 minutes is too long! Don't bother stopping if you can't eat in 4 minutes because they will ask you to pay and leave.

The owner yelled at my friends when they were eating lunch and made them leave. very rude/unprofessional way to conduct buisness. Do not reccomend this establishment

Absolutely the worst day I took my sister and my daughter out for a ride and lunch out of town we ended up at Dave’s and was kicked out after sitting down to eat we ate for maybe 30 minutes and was very rudely told to leave by what I assume is the owner or manager he hollered across the restaurant for us to leave said we were snacking on our hamburgers um pretty sure that’s what you do when you go eat at a restaurant he was extremely rude said he had to have a meeting who has a meeting in the middle of a Saturday I will blast them all over Facebook and I will never go back I have never been treated so bad at any place of business as I was today
