“Rain affected the food being ready due to wet wood but the owner Greg fixed us a complimentary plate for the road trip to hold us over.. Traveling from Waxo to Baton Rouge. He was so kind, giving and food was so delicious and asked nothing in return.
Hopefully can go back next years trip. You will not be disappointed, go eat here!!!“

“Best ribs ever! We got the sampler plate, so we got to try the chicken, sliced brisket, sausage, some ribs, and a little chopped beef with jambalaya and beans on the side. All was delicious but those ribs!!! Yum!! Now I'll tell you, don't be alarmed when you pull up, it's an old, old, old place with LOTS of history but they sure know what they are doing! He's been there for 35 years and still going strong. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!“

“Seated at 6:30, food arrived to the table at 9:00 and I asked for to-go boxes. They ran out of Miller lite, green beans, no pulled pork (when we were told we could substitute it for sausage). Manager was finally gotten where she apologized and said they were so embarrassed. I will NEVER return and no compensation at all or at least our two teas taken off. VERY DISAPPOINTED“

“It’s hard to find good BBQ in Shreveport. Yes, we have some people that do very well on the grill, but when I want that flavor, I normally drive to Bodacious BBQ in Marshall, TX, I tried NO TEETH today (11/08/24) and now I’m hooked on the their BBQ!! You can’t go wrong! Those ribs, beans, potato salad, and the Mac and cheese is the truth! Truth be told, I don’t care for Mac and cheese, but I ate all theirs!! They get a perfect score from me!! 🙌“
