Getting my order to go, I purchased 3 different orders. I was told the chicken might take a little longer because it's cooked after you order. I ordered at 2 o'clock and at 3o'clock I was still waiting. They had actually locked the doors, closing, cleaning up and i was still waiting. It took a hour and a half to fill my order. There is no reasonable excuse that you give me where this is acceptable. Paying for my order getting ready to leave I was offered lemonade for my inconvenience.....that's it! Lemonade, i feel as though they should have at least cut the cost for order if my business was important to you. The service was horrible, the food was great but not enough to offset the service. That was my first visit and everyone deserves a second chance, but not sure if I want to experience that again

I’ve been to these restaurants a several times and I always get the Smothered Pork chops rice and gravy and yams and it’s normal good but I went yesterday and my food was horrible my pork was over cook (very dry) gravy tasted like water like it was the last of the gravy and they stretch it with water and the yams tasted liked they was just plain baked or boiled I was so disappointed

I was not feeling great but that food and customer service made my day especially since I felt too bad to cook. The staff was amazing and I love the fact that they all had on hair nets for one it made me think of my Big Mama days and also the service speaks for it self. I also love that when you open the door the aroma was amazing. Last thing is the way even if you eat in how they package my food and also when the lady brought our food and realize the onions was not with my lover she took the plate back and the onions was on there. We will be back for sure. I pray much success and Hope they stay the way they are.

I went to LealV's on a Friday and ordered their fish, baked beans, potato salad, and we did dine in. The food was brought to the table in to-go boxes, plastic utensils, and plastic cups to drink our beverage out of. How disappointing. The price and the amount of food was very surprising, WHY? no glass plates? Totally unacceptable. Food had no taste, small serving for $18.00. Our clothes smelled like food/grease poor ventilation, and restroom behind counter where food is served. They were out of peach cobbler and greens. This location could last for years if some things are changed & fixed. Maybe you should visit the other black owned restaurant and take notes. I am for black owned however be fair with the serving portion and no to-go plastic plates EVER.
Lower the prices for the portion that's served. Wishing you success and blessings.
