Always great BBQ here. We have been customers since their original Houma location but Thibodaux takes the cake. It was $150+ for our family of 4 to eat. This visit I had tried the pecan pie as it's my daughter's favorite and was semi let down. The middle part below the pecans was not a custard it was more of a syrup which may be to others liking just not mine when I think of pecan pie. We will be back , the BBQ has stayed consistent throughout the years and our family appreciates that. The service was also very friendly and welcoming.
Whenever I come down to Louisiana and Port Fourchon for work I always have to go to Big Mikes BBQ ♥️ it is so good. Just hope they would start making Baby back ribs again in Houma.

We just got in from Canyon Lake Texas to visit our daughter. They took us to this busy barbecue restaurant and as packed as they were, I thought it would be a while before we put our order in and so on. And actually the general manager came out, got us through the line made sure we had what we wanted, and got us seated within 25 minutes with it being as busy as it was on a Friday night with a live band. As far as the food, the barbecue was awesome if you’re ever in this small part of the world, this is a place you need to stop, rest your heels and taste

We had a fantastic experience at Big Mike’s Barbecue! The generous portions and quality of the food really stood out. The garlic mashed potatoes and sliced brisket seem to have been particular highlights. I enjoyed both the sweet heat and original barbecue sauces. Their constituent's Carolina pulled pork sandwich also made a positive impression. Highly recommend Big Mike’s barbecue!
