I called earlier and their automated system seemed to have a problem. I called back and whoever answered the phone seemed to lack common courtesy and overall home training, she was incredibly rude. I thought at first she couldn't hear me because she kept saying Blake's deli, I finally said can you hear me, I think your phone may have a problem and she said, "what do you need", i said nothing have a great day, I was really craving an oyster poboy, but with an attitude like that I'm not eating from someone like that, there's no telling what would be done to my food.

This is a gas station place. But it was the best ribs I have had out ever. Even my wife like the ribs and she had jambalaya. We went here on recommendation from a guy at a really cool bar downtown

The food is great if you want to grab something homecooked on the go. The workers are very nice and handle the crowds well. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. I highly suggest.

Food is good, but the kitchen closes too early. The website shows that the deli is open until 8:00 pm, but it doesn’t state what time the kitchen shuts down. I called the other evening around 7:25 pm to place an order and was told that the kitchen was closed, so I asked what time it closes and they said 7:30, so I mentioned that it was before 7:30 and they said it was closed and hung up on me. Another disappointing thing is that they still claim that their poboys are overstuffed which they are definitely NOT! I remember years ago when they were truly overstuffed and you couldn’t get your mouth around them. Now they’re just plain poboys.
