This evening my girls and I visited Dale's Southern Grill located in Hoover, Alabama where we encountered the most horrific experience that could actually happen within a restaurant. Some of the food was under cooked, my kids food was old, and after taking one bite I agreed to pay for our drinks, but not the food.

I used to come here regularly but the food has gone downhill and I won't be back. The poppyseed chicken was one of my favorites but I could barely eat it this last time. The ambrosia was basically a pile of marshmallows with tiny bits of fruit.
A wonderful hidden gem, the food was fantastic. Service was fantastic atmosphere was spot on perfect, great place. I highly recommend.

The rosemary pork chop with apples was excellent. Some dishes, like lasagna and squash casserole, fell short on flavor. Overall, a good place for a quick meal with a mix of hits and misses on the menu.
