server was very nice, salsa tasted great ( not that nasty cooked marinara tasting salsa some places around here use) but the birria tacos had room temp to cold meat in them and the corn tortillas were cold. I really hope they just failed to microwave some refrigerated food up and that they don't store birria beef at that temperature or I'm gonna be in trouble tomorrow.
TLDR: Either their birria beef isn't fresh or it's stored at unsafe temperatures.

I took my Son and his girlfriend to eat there for lunch and we enjoyed it! We shared the large fajitas plate and had queso and chips. The food was delivered fast and hot to the table. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly.

The steak was extraordinary tough for my steak fajitas. The chips and salsa were great. The server was polite while at the table but I only seen or spoke to him when he took my order and then nearly a half hour later when I was rdy for my check. I do not have the words to explain just how tough the steak for the fajitas were. This was a shame because everything else serves with and for the fajitas were exceptional. I should have gotten the chicken fajitas....

Stay away!! El Paso in Thibodaux...
Food was OK, when they brought it to you. Waitress argued about items on menu, then 15 min later she brought the forgotten items.
Drink refills were nonexistent. Had to beg for a straw and silverware.
Waiter who played the manager was NO help at all, when the manager finally came, it seemed no one could speak English or understand what the problem was.
The Owners of this Restaurant need to seriously evaluate the wait staff and management at the Thibodaux location.
The food here is pretty good. Just this one time my food was burnt I ordered the fajita steak burrito and the steak was burnt when I asked them to do it to medium rare. The waiter was very nice the atmosphere was great. Even though my food wasn't what I wanted I will still go back.
Went back today on 7/27/25 and ordered the Happy plate. I had it at a few places and loved it. Here was pretty good. Chicken was a little dry but good. I would recommend asking them to put a little more Queso on it. But good this time.

The food for the most part is adequate, but far from tasty or even delicious. Tonight we ordered takeout. The 3 different meals all were not the way we ordered them, although I should be used to that by now. I was left on hold trying to order so long the call was disconnected and I had to call back. They forgot people were on hold. Dining in isn’t much better. Next time I want Mexican I’ll find a small mom and pop authentic Taqueria. There they’ll get it right, unlike El Paso.

We eat here nearly every Friday night and we have NEVER gotten anything but amazingly delicious food and fast friendly service!! For some reason this one in Thibodaux is waaaay better than the Houma location.
