These were supposed to be #2 crabs for $125 a bushel. They are all about this size. If they did have bigger one,they were put on top and all were skinny. What a waste of money, never again!

very disappointing crabs and kind of sad that they were still $84 for two dozen, was told they were nice size number 2s and full. they were the smallest crabs i’ve ever had and had barely any meat. they were also cold when we picked them up so clearly they were not fresh. next time we’ll just go to big al’s and spend the same amount but have actual number 2s hot out of the pot.

Amazing! The sack of crawfish i bought was good mix and nit many dead and all on big and medium. The lady was so nice, and the guy behind the counter was professional and down to business. The shop itself was super clean and variety galore. All seafood is fresh and nice size.

Non Consistent in Seasoning on Crawfish some Crawfish taste old. Crabs are the same as old taste not full. Very salty full of salt on the crawfish
I hate leaving reviews. Especially negative ones because I know just because I had a bad experience doesn’t mean most other people will. I bought 2 dozen select crabs because they looked huge and the #2 were more like a small #3. Overall was impressed with the size of the select crabs. What I ended up getting after spending $75 on 2 dozen crabs was unfortunately not at all what I expected. I had 1 crab that was even close to being full, the rest being pretty much empty. I really hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else, maybe I just had a bad batch from the supplier, not sure.
They brought me to the back so I could look and decide what I wanted, but I’m not an expert on picking crabs. I’m not good enough to be able to tell what a full select crab feels like weight wise. I just assumed that the guy in the back saying they were full and weren’t none of that light crap could be trusted.
Now this is a supplier issue that should be resolved so it doesn’t harm Your business. I understand when you buy shrimp, you get some small and large, lots of variety bc you can’t hand pick them all. But crabs…not that hard to hand pick through them to size them. We had 8-10 that I would for sure say were select crabs the rest were more like #2 and some #1.
