Cafe Evangeline Reviews
Dined inside last night (Friday Night). Accommodated a party of 10 (did have a reservation). Great Food, Great Service, Awesome Atmosphere and Music, Great Wine and Cocktails. It felt like you were in an historic New Orleans restaurant. We had a Great Time. Highly recommend!
Ordered the fried shrimp through Waitr app. No description of amount of shrimp but for $18 you would think they would be nice size shrimp. We got 8 very small looked like the frozen box shrimp! Horrible!!! Something you would see on a child’s menu maybe

Cafe Evangeline, located in a restored old bank-building, offers a delightful dining experience. The seafood and fish dishes are highly recommended, especially when paired with a glass of Pinot Grigio. The Shrimp and Grits are a must-try, along with the Brussels sprouts. The service is commendable, and the ambiance is charming, making it an ideal spot for special occasions or a simple lunch. The soft shell crab sandwich is another tempting option. Overall, Cafe Evangeline is a hidden gem that guarantees a satisfying meal.
