Foods OK but the service sucks.. 45 min after my order was supposed to be ready still didn't get the funnel cake.. ??.. Update.. after eating what food we did get.. not so good. Wayyy overseaaoned and burger was really dry! Horrible restaurant!

We visited The Cajun Coop recently. The workers were very courteous. The menu had a wide selection. I had the shrimp poboy, My mom had a crab burger, my niece had the chicken sandwich. We were all satisfied and had plenty to eat. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend and plan to return soon.

Took a while to cook 2 burgers and a fry and onion ring because they were worried with their hot table so the food had to be recooked...but it was good after that

It's like paying for someone's bad picnic leftovers.We both had the buffet and quickly realized we had made a bad decision.I said, "there's no gravy" to which my husband pointed out a pan of brown grease. Yes, grease. I even tried stirring it.The fried chicken had good flavor fresh out of the refrigerator.Their buffet warmers were mostly all turned off. Cold chicken and cold boxed mashed potatoes...The red beans were the only item that was warmish.I made an attempt at the cole slaw since it looked promising (I love me some good cole slaw). The cabbage was soft.We understand, everyone is short staffed right now and we are more than patient about it but this was just BAD.The health department should probably stop by and check those food temperatures.Editing to add since there's no way to respond to the owner's question...I wrote this review on our way home, Wednesday evening. The 20th around 8pm.

Best thing on the menu is the cajun smokehouse burger… so far! We’ve been working our way through the menu and haven’t found anything that beats it yet! My husband always asks for two! Great, homemade burger! Glad to support a local eatery.

I ordered a shrimp poboy dressed no cheese or tartar sauce, add mayo.It came just the way it was ordered And it was so delicious! Loaded down with shrimp!Onion Rings!?Fried chicken, all delicious!

OMG was here in Ville Platte me and my husband and was looking for a seafood place to eat and came across Cajun Coop and let me tell you was not disappointed at all food was great employees and customers were very friendly as well and will definitely return again!!!
